SPECIAL MEETING- MINUTES
WEDNESDAY, JUNE 2ND, 2010
The Council of the Rural Municipality of Clanwilliam held a special meeting duly assembled in the Council Chambers of the Town of Erickson on Wednesday, June 2nd, 2010 at 6:50 pm.
Members Present: Reeve Victor Baraniuk;
Councillor Jim Nylen;
Councillor Dave Maduke;
Councillor Les Woloshen;
CAO Kat Bridgeman;
Members Absent: Councillor Mitch Synchyshyn;
Call to Order;
Reeve Baraniuk called the meeting to order at 9:00 pm.
2. Adoption of the Agenda;

MADUKE - WOLOSHEN
Be It Resolved That the agenda be adopted as presented.

New Business;
a) WDG – digging of new pit;
Resolution No. 138/10
NYLEN - MADUKE
Be It Resolved That Council approve the digging of a new garbage pit at the Waste Disposal Grounds;
Be It Further Resolved That Council authorize the purchase of 200ft of farm fence for the Waste Disposal Grounds;
Be It Further Resolved That the cost not exceed $500.00 for the RM’s share.

Be It Resolved That Council accept the proposal for Loading Service at the Waste Disposal Grounds submitted by True Grit Sand & Gravel at a cost of $90.00 per hour including 1 hour charge for travel.

Be It Further Resolved That the RM contribute $50.00

Be It Resolved That Council hire Ashton Tiller as the RM’s summer student through the Green Team Program;
Be It Further Resolved That the rate of pay be at minimum wage.

Be It Resolved That Council as a whole and the CAO be authorized to attend the 2010 June District Meeting for the Midwestern District at the Gladstone District Community Centre on Friday, June 11th, 2010;
Be It Further Resolved That Council authorize the payment of any expenses incurred in accordance with the Indemnity By-law.

Be It Resolved That Council place a Hometown Graduate Congratulation advertisement in the South Mountain Press at a cost of $20.00.

Be It Resolved That Council approve EMO mail out to all Erickson mailboxes;
Be It Further Resolved That the cost be split with the Town.
