Manitoba Health Auxiliaries Association

Mission Statement:

keep auxiliary members informed of latest developments, policies, and legislation in the health care field

▪ provide leadership

Objectives:

▪ act in an advisory capacity
▪ recognize the importance of auxiliaries to their health facilities
▪ promote the exchange of ideas among members
▪ develop public awareness and support for the work of the auxiliaries

 

Who are we?

M.H.A.A. is a Provincial Association

▪ was formed in 1946 to serve the auxiliaries
▪ presently consists of 57 auxiliaries
▪ is a member of the Canadian Association of Healthcare Auxiliaries (C.A.H.A.)
▪ M.H.A.A. publishes and distributes to all auxiliaries a
▪ newsletter "Aux Cart," three times a year
▪ holds 10 Regional spring meetings
▪ holds an Annual General Meeting and Convention in the fall
▪ Sponsors an Educational Fund

▪ Membership is voluntary

 

Active Membership

▪ is all affiliated auxiliaries in Manitoba which have paid the annual fee
